Christiane Schoon: horse trainer
How have I survived the winters so far? I honestly ask myself that when I look back on my experiences with the Lenz Heat Vest last winter 2017/18!
I run a training stable for show jumping, dressage and eventing horses in the Osnabrücker Land. A comprehensive and varied training of the young riding horses is extremely important to me. This also means that the horses are exposed to all external and climatic stimuli all year round.
Inevitably, as a trainer, I am also exposed to multiple temperature fluctuations all day long. First you get warm during the work phase, then the horse walks and the rider cools down. This often leads to health problems, especially in the back and kidney area. In the past, colds, but also muscle tension etc. were often the result. Inevitably, permanent undressing and dressing in the saddle was often the only way to protect the health of the rider. Especially with very young training horses, this is not a pleasant and not always safe situation.
Thanks to the heat vest 1.0 from Lenz, I was always properly dressed this winter! Due to the simple form of heat regulation via the app on my smartphone, the heat vest 1.0 always ensured a pleasant, perfect temperature and a relaxed and dry back for the rider.
Due to its thin material, the heat vest 1.0 can be worn under any clothing without any problems, freedom of movement in the saddle is retained and the annoying onion look is finally history!
The winter of 2017/18 was the first winter that I survived without a cold thanks to the Lenz heat vest. The heat vest 1.0 has become an essential part of my equipment that I no longer want to do without!
In professional equestrian sports, the main focus is on high-quality and sophisticated protection for the valuable legs of our beloved four-legged friends. What is all too often overlooked is that the legs and feet of the riders are also valuable, as they are important and yet so often neglected "working tools".
Our legs are in action all day long, standing for a long time while giving lessons, many walks, high strain on the calf muscles and feet during long gallops in a light seat, then again trips with a transporter or truck - legs and feet inevitably react with "puckering". , pain and swelling of the calf and feet.
I have now completely solved these problems since I have been using the compression socks from Lenz, compression socks 1.0, on a daily basis! A change of riding boots? No problem, your feet slide effortlessly back into the boots as they no longer swell.
Pain or heavy legs in the evening are a thing of the past and even chafing on the Achilles tendon is no longer an issue thanks to the padding and the good fit of the compression socks from Lenz!
