Heated clothing

Heated clothing uses integrated electric heating elements powered by rechargeable lithium batteries. Heat is generated at key areas of the body – in vests, on the back and kidney area; in socks, at the toes. The temperature can be adjusted via three heat levels on the battery or steplessly via the app.

Battery life depends on the battery model, selected heat level, and ambient temperature – typically between 3 and 23 hours. On low setting, the battery lasts significantly longer than on maximum heat. The Lenz Heat App also offers an interval heating function that optimizes runtime through intelligent heat management. Exact battery runtimes can be found on our website for each heated product.

Yes, heated clothing from Lenz Products is washable. Batteries must be removed before washing. Most products, except gloves, are machine washable at 30 °C on a gentle cycle – please refer to the care instructions in the FAQs, product information, or on the product label.

Heated clothing is available for various budgets – from heated socks with the Lithium Packs 1200 to sets including a jacket with the most powerful battery. The investment is especially worthwhile for people who are regularly outdoors in the cold or who get cold quickly. Lenz’s modular system allows you to start with a single heated product and later expand with other products, as they are all compatible with each other.

Modern heated clothing is surprisingly light – the heating elements and cables are barely noticeable. A heated vest without attached and activated batteries is just a regular functional vest. The heating batteries weigh approximately 85–115 grams depending on the model. The compact lithium batteries are positioned so that they do not restrict freedom of movement.
