Merino wool is the perfect raw material for sports and functional clothing. Why? It is heavily crimped and has a wavy structure, making it much finer than traditional sheep's wool. Merino wool can crimp up to 40 times per centimetre.
Although the fine merino wool is much less irritating than coarse wool, it remains a natural product and can scratch and chafe. That is why Lenz products have a special inner layer made of high-tech yarns with Merino SOFTTEC®. These yarns are kind to the skin and prevent unpleasant scratching for even more comfort.
