Batteries with production code* up to "21xx"
The blinking of the middle LED (every 2 - 3 seconds) signals the stand-by mode of the lithium pack. If you want to switch off the flashing during stand-by mode, you can activate the "LED OFF" function before exiting the Lenz heat app. After exiting the Lenz heat app, the LEDs on the lithium pack no longer flash.
The lithium pack still changes automatically after the in the Instructions for use specified time in the power-off mode.
The LEDs can be switched on again via the Lenz heat app or the LEDs will flash again as usual during the charging process.
Batteries with production code* from "22xx"
The flashing of the middle LED in stand-by mode has been deactivated.
*The production code is located on the back of the lithium pack and consists of four digits. e.g. "2107"

All packs can be controlled manually using the push button. Lithium pack rcB1200/rcB1800 and insole rcB 1200 can also be controlled via Bluetooth using the Lenz Heat app.
Bluetooth-enabled lithium packs are marked with the "Bluetooth symbol" on the front and "Bluetooth Smart" on the back.
Before storing, discharge the lithium packs and half charge them again (see instructions for use) – DO NOT FULLY CHARGE! Lithium packs switched off and stored separately from the charger. In the case of long-term storage, we recommend discharging and half-charging the lithium packs every 6 months. Proper storage of the lithium packs can maximize battery performance and service life.
In order to completely discharge the lithium pack, it is connected to the heat socks / gloves / vest / pants / bandage / LED system and set to the highest heating level until the lithium pack is completely empty.
In order to half-discharge the lithium pack for long-term storage, the lithium pack is fully discharged as described and then charged with the charger for 2 - 3 hours.
Each lithium pack comes with 3 x 2 pieces of colored rubber bands.
These can contribute to detection when using several lithium packs that are paired with the Lenz heat app.
For example, the lithium packs for the heat socks and the heat vest can be color-coded.
The rubber bands are attached in the middle of the lithium pack so that they cannot slip. The lithium packs can also be marked per person, for example if several people in a family use lithium packs.
Please contact the airline about this. Most airlines have a limit of 100Wh per person. The Lenz lithium pack rcB 1200 Accupack has 8.88 Wh, the Lenz lithium pack rcB 1800 Accupack has 13.32 Wh.
Yes, the LEDs can be switched off using the "ON/OFF" function in the Lenz heat app, but the heating function remains active.
Please fully charge and discharge the lithium packs three times. Experience has shown that an improved capacity should then be achieved. If this is not the case, please contact our service center.
Please press the function button on the lithium pack to start charging. The charging process and status can be followed using the LEDs on the lithium pack that light up constantly in ascending order.
The exact charging process is also described in the instructions for use .
The lithium packs have the following dimensions per piece:
heat pack: 85 grams 8.5 cm x 5.5 cm x 1 cm
lithium pack rcB 1200: 85 grams 8.5 cm x 5.5 cm x 1 cm
lithium pack rcB 1800: 95 grams 8.5 cm x 5.5 cm x 1.5 cm
The lithium pack 1200 / heat pack / lithium pack rcB 1200 / lithium pack rcB 1800 can also be charged via a USB power bank using the included USB charge cord.
Important: Please check the technical specifications of the power bank!
Depending on the technical specifications of the power bank, there may be different charging times than those specified in the instructions for use.
The lithium packs must not be used in or under water.
HEAT SOCKS / SOLES / GLOVES / VESTS / PANTS / BANDAGES / LED SYSTEM FAQ
1. How do the heat socks work?
2. Where do the heat socks heat?
3. What is the difference between the heat socks 4.1 toe cap®, the heat socks 5.1 toe cap® (Slim Fit) and the heat socks 6.1 toe cap® Merino Compression?
4. How does the heat vest/heat bandage work?
5. How do the heat gloves work?
7. How does the LED system 1.0 work?
8. What are the sizes of the heat socks / vests / soles / gloves?
10. For whom are heated textiles not suitable?
The heat socks are functional socks with a proportion of merino wool. A heating element is integrated/sewn into these socks. The lithium pack is attached to the waistband of the socks with snaps. The sock waistband is folded over the lithium pack to fix it.
The heat output can be controlled via 3 levels on the lithium pack or steplessly via smartphone (with the lithium pack rcB 1200/1800).
With the heat socks toe cap®, the heating element encloses the toes from above and below. This results in an optimal heat chamber for maximum comfort. We recommend wearing the socks directly on the skin. The heat socks therefore only heat up in the toe area, as it is always the outermost extremities such as the toes that get cold first when it is cold. When the toes are cold, the cold gradually spreads to the whole foot and the blood vessels that line the surface of the body constrict. If the toes stay warm thanks to the heat socks, the optimal circulation of the whole foot and leg is guaranteed.
All heat socks with the addition "toe cap" have a heating element that encloses the entire toe area. This warms the toes from both above and below, creating an optimal heat chamber.
The heat socks 5.1 toe cap® have padding in the shin area and are suitable for all outdoor activities. The natural material mix of merino wool and silk supports the outstanding warming effect of the socks.
The heat socks 5.1 toe cap® slim fit are narrower in the forefoot area and are especially suitable for narrow feet and legs. They have padding in the shin area and are suitable for all outdoor activities. The natural material mix of merino wool and silk supports the outstanding warming effect of the socks.
The heat socks 4.1 toe cap® are the perfect companion for leisure and work in black. In the color green, these are the perfect socks for hunting and forestry.
The heat socks 6.1 toe cap® merino compression are the first heat socks with a toe cap® heating element, which are manufactured using compression knitting technology and a high proportion of merino wool. They are extremely thin in volume and are therefore ideal for all fitted and tight-fitting shoe types.
With the heat vest, the lithium packs are attached to the inside of the vest by means of press studs on the right and left and are not noticeable. The heat can be felt in the kidney and back area. The heat output can be controlled via 3 levels on the lithium pack or steplessly via smartphone (with the lithium pack rcB 1200/1800).
With the heat bandage, the lithium pack is also attached to a pocket on the front of the bandage using snap fasteners.
The heat gloves have a pocket on the inside of the wrist in which the lithium packs can be stowed. The lithium packs can be connected to the heat gloves using the snap fasteners.
The heat gloves 4.0 heat the fingers on the temperature-sensitive upper side. Each finger is heated with an individual heating element. The gloves are designed for winter sports and can be used in a variety of ways. The heat gloves 5.0 urban line unisex are perfect for everyday use because they are thinner than the heat gloves 4.0 and 6.0 finger cap. They are therefore better suited for walking, cycling or for a trip to the Christmas market. The heat gloves 5.0 urban line unisex have the same heating element as the heat gloves 4.0 The heat gloves 6.0, 7.0, 8.0 and 1.0 with the addition "finger cap" are the gloves of the latest generation. They have a heating element that encloses the entire finger area and also heats parts of the back of the hand. This warms the fingers from both above and below. This creates an optimal heat chamber.
The connector plug is visible in the battery compartment of the LED system 1.0, the lithium pack is inserted into the battery bag provided.
The connector plug of the LED system 1.0 is connected to the push buttons on the lithium pack.
The flap is closed with the Velcro.
Briefly pressing the function button on the lithium pack calls up the different modes on the LED system 1.0. By continuously pressing the function button on the lithium pack, the light can be dimmed in 4 different stages in the respective mode.
